WPP linked to $1.5bn oil advertising since Paris Agreement
WPP, a British advertising firm, has reportedly facilitated $1.5 billion in oil advertising for companies like ExxonMobil and Chevron since the 2015 Paris Agreement. This amount is nearly double that of its US competitors, Omnicom and Interpublic Group, according to a report by DeSmog. WPP is accused of breaching its own climate policy.
