US Airman Missing Since WWII Laid to Rest in Florida
US Navy airman Robert Cyr Jr, missing since a 1944 seaplane crash, has been laid to rest in Clearwater, Florida. His remains were identified through DNA analysis after being recovered, concluding a decades-long search that began on 22 January 1944 in the Segond channel, near Vanuatu.
