'Truth & Treason' film depicts German teen's fight against Nazism
The film 'Truth & Treason' portrays the true story of Helmuth Hübener, a Mormon teenager from Hamburg who denounces Nazism during World War II. Inspired by the deportation of his Jewish friend Salomon Schwarz to Auschwitz, Hübener, played by Ewan Horrocks, distributes anti-Nazi leaflets, challenging the narrative of Christian saviour. Rupert Evans co-stars as a conflicted Gestapo officer, adding depth to the historical drama.
