Springs fire in California 45% contained after burning 4,100 acres

California fire crews have contained 45% of the Springs fire, which has burned over 4,100 acres in Riverside County. The fire, exacerbated by high winds, was only 25% contained as of Friday evening. The blaze is located approximately 64 miles east of Los Angeles.
