New Covid variant BA.3.2 detected in 29 US states
The BA.3.2 variant of Covid-19, an Omicron strain with numerous spike mutations, is found in 29 states and Puerto Rico. Experts, including Dr Jake Scott, advise that while vigilance is necessary, there is currently no evidence indicating it is more severe than previous variants.
