Mangione's lawyers drop psychiatric defence in CEO killing case
Luigi Mangione's legal team has abandoned their psychiatric defence in his trial for the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. Just one day prior, they had indicated they would argue he was experiencing an 'extreme emotional disturbance' at the time of the incident on 4 December 2024.
