Lebanese journalist Amal Khalil killed in Israeli attack

Lebanese journalist Amal Khalil, 43, was killed in an Israeli attack on April 23, 2026, after previously reporting a death threat from an unidentified Israeli number. Khalil, who worked for al-Akhbar newspaper, had expressed her support for resistance against Israel. A colleague was also injured in the attack.
