France demands release of detained 86-year-old widow

The French government is urging the US Department of Homeland Security to release 86-year-old Marie-Therese Ross, who was detained by ICE in Alabama on 1 April for overstaying her visa. Ross, a widow of a military veteran, is currently held at a federal immigration detention facility in Louisiana.
