Ex-CIA Official Accused of Stealing $40M in Gold Bars

David Rush, a former CIA executive, is accused of stealing over $40 million in gold bars by creating a fake spy program. Arrested in May, he allegedly took 303 bullion bars, luxury watches, and over $2 million in foreign currency from his government office. Rush had worked for the CIA for 17 years.
