David Munk appointed new editor of Guardian Australia

David Munk, previously a deputy chief at The Guardian Australia, is appointed as the new editor. Munk has been serving as managing editor in the UK before returning to lead the Australian branch. His appointment is effective immediately as of June 15, 2026.
