Carlton fined $75,000 for mishandling player’s mental health episode

Carlton has been fined $75,000 for failing to remove player Elijah Hollands during a mental health episode in round six against Collingwood. Following the incident, which saw Hollands acting erratically and later hospitalised, the AFL mandates that all clubs employ a full-time psychologist.
