California Man Arrested for Trafficking Wild Turtles

Donald Do, a California man, is arrested for attempting to traffic 292 loggerhead musk turtles under the false claim they were captive-bred. From December 2022 to May 2024, he allegedly conspired with an accomplice to export the turtles to Taiwan, using a fraudulent export license. Authorities say the turtles were poached from the wild in Florida and other locations.
